Since June 12 almost 500 earthquakes recorded in Yellowstone

The Yellowstone national park has been shaken by 464 earthquakes between June 12 and June 19, with the strongest reaching a magnitude of 4.4 on June 16, according to the University of Utah Seismograph Stations statement. The quake activity is caused by the large number of faults in the park associated with the volcano that underlies Yellowstone. The tremors were recorded at depths from ground level to 14.5 km below sea level.
