Donald Trump admits no easy peace for Middle East

Netanyahu was one of the first world leaders to visit Washington after President Trump's inauguration and U.S. President's visit is another step to reaffirm the bond of friendship between the two countries. The Palestinian leader raised numerous familiar grievances and demands for a peace deal with Israel, including a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem and an end to what the Palestinians view as the illegal "occupation" of the West Bank.

Trump's stop at the Western Wall came between Sunday's trip to Saudi Arabia , where he called on Muslim leaders to "drive out the terrorists and extremists" from their lands and his forthcoming visit with Pope Francis at the Vatican. The Trump family walked to the wall from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, one of the holiest sites in Christianity, which they visited first, arriving there on foot from the Jaffa Gate.
