Palestinian prisoners in Israel jails end hunger strike

Young girl rescued after sea lion drags her into busy Canadian harbor

After the girl and her father made it back onto the dock, they quickly hurried off of it. The incident was over in seconds but Michael Fujiwara , who was filming the sea lion swimming in the harbour, captured the entire scene. Andrew Trites , the director of UBC's Marine Mammal Research Unit, says the animals should not be blamed in incidents like this. At one point the creature jumps up towards the little girl sitting on the edfe of the pier, with laughs heard from those watching.
