Kabul mourns loved ones lost to latest bombing

An Afghan health official says the rush-hour suicide auto bombing in Kabul has killed at least nine people and wounded as many as 90. One of the worst such attacks since the US -led campaign to oust the Taliban in 2001, it was only the latest in a grim series that has killed thousands of civilians over the years.



Port officials increase public warnings after sea lion incident

SFU student Michael Fujiwara was on the dock when he saw the large, male sea lion approach, so he started filming it as a crowd gathered around the animal . Fujiwara claims people were feeding the sea lion breadcrumbs, something Steveston Harbour Authority GM Bob Baziuk warns against. They are not pets, they're wild animals.
