Judge orders MI recount to begin at noon Monday

President-elect Donald Trump ended up winning Michigan's 16 electoral votes by just 0.2 percentage points, or just under 10,000 votes out of over 5.5 million cast. That includes making sure the voting boxes weren't tampered with. MI must begin its presidential recount at noon Monday, a federal judge ruled in a late-night order that could make it more likely the state will complete the count ahead of a December 13 deadline.



Clinton's leads Trump in popular vote by 2.5 million

A looming recount isn't taking the pressure off either. Trump stormed to victory with 306 electoral votes to Clinton's 232 electoral votes. Each party selects their electoral college representatives - and because Donald Trump won the most votes in Missouri, Republican presidential electors will be the ones asking Missouri's votes for president.

Hurricane Otto nears the coasts of Nicaragua and Costa Rica

The storm caused heavy rains in Panama as it moved off that nation's northern coast. A hurricane watch is in effect for north of Bluefields to Sandy Bay Sirpi, Nicaragua, as well as south of Limon to the Costa Rica-Panama border. While the Caribbean is one of the few areas with warm enough water to support a hurricane this late in the season, a storm making landfall this far south is extremely rare.
