Turkish forces on the ground have hit 109 ISIL-related targets in northern Syria, with the Turkish Air Force hitting 29 targets in the al-Bab, Tadif and Zarzur regions on December 11 and early December 12. The operation was dubbed the Shield of the Euphrates. The Observatory said explosions triggered by Islamic State had caused casualties in a village close to al-Bab.
