Through Monday, Nate is expected to produce two to four inches (5 - 10 cm) more rain in eastern Yucatan and western Cuba and three to six inches (8 - 15 inches) in the United States central Gulf Coast. Nate triggered hurricane, tropical storm and storm surge warnings through a swath of the Gulf states, as residents braced for the third hurricane to hit the USA mainland in six weeks.
