Chelsea Handler changing Netflix talk show format for season 2

Chelsea Handler changing Netflix talk show format for season 2

The second season of Chelsea Handler's talk show CHELSEA will return on Friday, April 14th, 2017 at 12:01AM/PST only on Netflix. That means the total hours of content in the season will drop from 45 to just 30. The series will now deliver hour long episode once a week for its official second season instead season one's odd Wednesday through Friday schedule.

By doing fewer shows but having an hour-long edition, the idea is that Handler will be able to do "dig deeper into the subjects that matter to Chelsea most". Season 2 will move to a weekly format that better fits the show's viewers, as revealed in a new teaser for the April premiere.

In its first season, "Chelsea" aired three half-hour episodes per week. We all know it's going to be f*cking hilarious.

No doubt this decision was influenced by the vast amounts of data that Netflix collects on its subscribers and their viewing habits, so look for Chelsea's comeback to continue now that they're giving the people both more and less of what they want! Throughout the course of the series, Chelsea had some fantastic guests join her on set including the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Evans, Chris Martin, Ashton Kutcher, Wiz Khalifa, Sarah Paulson, Norman Reedus, Melissa McCarthy and SO many more.
