North Korea has threatened to send four Hwasong-12 ballistic missiles over Hiroshima, Shimane and Kochi to target Guam, a US Pacific territory.
President Donald Trump is seeking continued help from China's president in addressing the threat posed by North Korea's nuclear developments.
Guam, a 210-square-mile island, is a USA territory in the Pacific Ocean.

The naval base is an important outpost for US fast-attack submarines that are a key means for gathering intelligence in the region, including the Korean peninsula and the South China Sea where China has been building military bases on man-made islands. It did so to compensate for USA forces diverted from other bases in the Asia-Pacific region to fight in the Middle East.
Trump has pushed China to pressure North Korea to halt a nuclear weapons program that is nearing the capability of targeting the United States.
