An actor from Twin Peaks: The Return has been arrested after being accused of violently beating his girlfriend with a bat. Police called it "extremely violent".
Officers responded and were able to arrest Lindholm as he attempted to flee out of the back of the business, still carrying the bat, Spokane Police said in a statement. Victim and and witness statements reveal the attack was "domestic violence related".
Linholm told police he had been arguing with his girlfriend of five years before she headed out to get him Kool Aid, according to court documents cited by KREM. He "quickly gave up" when officers confronted him in the alley, according to the release, and was then taken into custody.
Surveillance video showed an "extremely violent" assault on the woman, and police say they believe the woman's life was in danger and Lindholm meant to kill her.
Lindholm was booked into Spokane County Jail on $100,000 bond and is facing charges of attempted second-degree murder and assault along with other charges, including assaulting the victim's friend.
According to court documents, Lindholm said he did not intend to hurt the woman in question, adding that he wanted police to shoot him in front of her.
He is now being held in the Spokane County Jail on $100,000 bond.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. We really only know him by his work and he's done good work for us'.
"How are you watching Twin Peaks?" he wrote. Mitchell said their interactions with Lindholm were always "consistently professional".
On the 5th of August, Lindholm shared a photo on Twitter of himself standing beside a TV urging people to watch the latest episode of Twin Peaks, in which he appears in the series.
MAM was horrified to hear of the news, and their thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victim as well as the perpetrator.
