Two Jacksonville police officers were shot late Friday on the city's Westside.
Police sources tell Channel 9 that one person involved in the shooting deaths of two Kissimmee police officers has been taken into custody.
The names of the officers have not been released.
"There are no county or jurisdiction lines when it comes to our Law Enforcement Brotherhood", Osceola County Commissioner Fred Hawkins Jr. wrote in response to the shootings.
The Florida Highway Patrol issued a warning to drivers, advising them to stay out of the area due to heavy police activity. "We ask media not to release any other information until we can confirm family members have been notified".
Almost 165 miles north of Kissimmee in Jacksonville, two other police officers were shot on the city's West Side.
The scene of the shooting is just east of Main Street and north of USA 192.
The conditions of the officers are unknown at this time.
A subsequent tweet read, "Our law enforcement officers are true heroes and we will miss these fearless Floridians".
