Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Toilet-Ek Prem Katha scored collections to the tune of Rs 3.75 crore at the box office on its eighth day.
The story of the film revolves around the love triangle played by the Kriti Sanon, Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana, where Kriti Sanon, has come with a rebellion character, who is vanishing the line between males and females. The film that started on a low note, did see growth during the weekend. It is said that the positive word of mouth and reviews have been helping the film to attract audience. Infused with peppy numbers and dialogues you can relate to, the film is yet another example of Bollywood's love for small town stories.

Bareilly Ki Barfi film released in around 450 screens and opened to lukewarm response from day 1. The film grossed Rs. 3.85 crores and Rs. 5.03 crores on Saturday and Sunday (2nd and 3rd day) respectively. Bareilly Ki Barfi is following the same trend as Irrfan Khan's Hindi Medium which was a big hit at the box office.
Also starring Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa in supporting roles, "Bareilly Ki Barfi" is an Indian romantic comedy and an adaptation of Nicolas Barreau's book The Ingredients of Love.
