Jennifer Lopez at relief telethon: Puerto Rico 'not forgotten'

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West was among the celebrities who answered calls from viewers who were encouraged to pledge money toward the American Red Cross, Reach Out Worldwide, United Way, United for Puerto Rico and other aid groups during the telethon.

One Voice: Somos Live! airs tonight, Saturday, Oct. 14 at 8 p.m. on Telemundo and Univision in Spanish, and the English broadcast will air at 10 p.m. on NBC.

Stars are coming together to raise money for those affected by recent natural disasters, in Puerto Rico, Florida, Texas, Mexico and more. But a standout performance of the night came from Bruno Mars, who repped his Boricua heritage with a Spanish-language rendition of "Just The Way You Are", which he performed in front of a projection of a giant Puerto Rican flag.

In addition to the live performances, some of your favorite celebs will be broadcasting live from sunny Los Angeles, California including Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Ricky Martin, Jamie Foxx, Maroon 5 and Stevie Wonder, just to name a few. "We are One Voice #somoslive #lovewins".

"It's amusing for me because I just stepped forward on this and went and did that press conference in NY, I called him on the way there", she told E!

Ahead of the event, the actress told People, "Right when the hurricane hit Puerto Rico, Marc and I got on the phone and started talking about what we could do. For me it took six days before we found my Uncle Tomás and Adela [Ríos]", to whom she is related through her cousin and assistant Tiana Ríos, "who showed me great kindness growing up and who survived this historic storm when others did not".

Marc Anthony performed live from Miami's Marlins Park stadium, along with other artists like Daddy Yankee, Alejandro Sanz, Romeo Santos, Prince Royce, Nicky Jam and DJ Khaled, who brought out special guests Fat Joe, French Montana, T.I., and Busta Rhymes. "We are so grateful!"
