Rams vs. Jags: 3 key matchups to watch

Adrian Peterson made a statement in his Arizona Cardinals debut.

The Arizona Cardinals, who next face the Rams in London, kept pace with Los Angeles with a 38-33 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Can the Cardinals get on a roll or was that merely a one-week aberration? The Rams are now listed as 3.5-point favorites for this week's contest in London.

Fournette ran for 130 yards against the Rams, including a 75-yard touchdown on the Jaguar's first offensive snap. Carson Palmer completed 18 of his 22 pass attempts for 283 yards, 3 touchdowns and an interception. He has rushed for 100 or more yards in three of the Jaguars' six games, including the past two.

After he was limited to seven games during his junior season at LSU due to ankle troubles, the No. 4 overall pick missed the Jaguars' second preseason game due to a minor foot issue. Jared Goff was just 11-of-21 for 124 yards and a touchdown against Jacksonville, but the Jags do have a rugged defense. That in mind, the game is expected to be a close one and could come down to a few key matchups on both sides of the ball for Jacksonville. Though Houston did drop a home contest a week ago against the undefeated Chiefs, while losing J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus for the season, keep in mind they're on an 8-1 ATS run as a non-division home favorite. However, if the Cards get their running game going, they'll likely win.
