Camila Cabello Has A Lot of Dream Collaborations In Mind

Camila is set to release on January 12 and will be available to pre-order today, with two tracks called Never Be the Same and Real Friends being offered up as instant downloads.

The pop star wants her fellow artists to know that she is a great songwriter as well as a singer, and says hitting the studio with the likes of Diplo and Shawn Mendes "taught her a lot".

Camila has been making waves as a solo artist, scoring a huge success with her latest single "Havana," winning awards herself and gearing up for the upcoming release of her album Camila on January 12, 2018. She sings about her obsession with a love interest: "All I need is you babe/And I'm a sucker for the way that you move babe/And I could try to run but it would be useless/You're to blame/Just one hit of you I knew I'd never be the same".

Camila Cabello felt she had to "prove" to her collaborators that she was a real artist.

Speaking to MTV, she added: "I think in the beginning it was really nerve-wracking".

Another Camila would love to team up with is The 1975.

The Fifth Harmony girls are people just like the rest of us, and they absolutely do not have to stop to take pictures with fans ever, let alone at an airport.

"My debut album is finally finished", Cabello wrote in a message to fans Tuesday (December 5), sharing the sultry cover art. Cabello also recently received Billboard Women in Music's Breakthrough Artist Award.

The release date for "Camila" has now been unveiled.

Former Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello dropped two new songs on Thursday.
