OnePlus 5T Lava Red Variant With 8GB RAM Launched In India

It's not clear if the variant has permanently gone in favor of the Lava Red. The new color variant will sell along with the Midnight Black and the Star Wars Edition.

However, the Lava Red 5T won't be any different when it comes to the regular 5T, which in our opinion isn't certainly bad.

Registrations to be notified for the first sale of the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition have already begun on Thursday, January 11, and the phone will go on sale on Amazon.in starting at 12pm IST, January 20 as well as on the OnePlus Store. The company, in order to avoid the holiday rush (as January 26 is the Republic Day), has finally made the OnePlus 5T Lava red edition official in the Indian shores. The OnePlus 5T users can unlock the smartphone using their face with the help of the front camera.

As is customary with most Limited Edition OnePlus phones, the OnePlus 5T Lava Red will also be available in 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option with rest of the hardware specs remaining intact. Good thing is, the OnePlus 5T Sandstone White costs as much as the original Midnight Black variant. It also recently introduced Star Wars edition in India last month. Additionally, it uses two anodic oxidation processes, using double blasting and an AF coating to ensure the texture and feel. OP5T runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system based on Oxygen OS. This phenomenal excitement reinforces the trust that you have instilled in us, making us determined to continue to bring fresh experiences.

OnePlus 5T sports a dual camera on the rear with 16-megapixel+20-megapixel sensors and dual LED Flash where first one is a wide-angle camera with f/1.7 and second one is a telephoto lens with f/1.7 aperture.

The rear side features a primary camera of 16MP coupled with a secondary camera sensor of 20MP capacity. Under the hood is a 3300mAh non-removable battery. The phone comes with a Dash Charge technology and there is a fingerprint sensor too on the phone.
