Investigators ultimately determined "this was not a credible threat". Officials then returned back to that same classroom and told students to get out and leave their belongings behind.

The alleged threat made was not detailed further, however, police say that there was no immediate danger to the students, staff or the public. Cross Creek did go on a soft lockdown, the school said.

Police did not elaborate on the exact details of the threat.

According to CPD, investigators believe the threats were fabricated by the juveniles and they did not have means to carry them out.
