Arizona bride driving to wedding arrested for DUI

A bride-to-be in Arizona has so much to worry about after her wedding day turned out to be a sad day following her arrest en-route to the solemnization venue, for allegedly Driving Under the Influence (DUI).

Chriswell Scott of the Marana Police Department in Arizona tweeted a photo of the bride, Amber Young, 32, of Tucson, wearing a long, white wedding dress as an officer escorted her into a waiting auto.

Sgt. Chriswell Scott of the Marana Police Department tweeted an image of her arrest, revealing the back of the blonde bride donning her gown and eye glasses on her head, with her arms behind her back in handcuffs.

The bride was pictured being put into the back of a police auto while in her wedding dress after being pulled over.

"This morning at 10:30, we received a 911 call about a three-car collision on the corner of Orange Grove and Thornydale roads", Scott tells Yahoo Lifestyle.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to Scott, Young was released after "submitting to a blood draw".

It is not known if Young made it to her wedding in time.

"Don't drive impaired", Scott wrote online.
