Apple on Thursday announced new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro which are faster than ever, can compile code faster and run multiple virtual machines and test environments easier than before.

The laptops are packing the new Apple T2 chip for enhanced security the laptops. They maintain the 500-nit maximum brightness and 100% DCI P3 coverage that have always been hallmarks of the modern MacBook Pro.

Aside from the spec increases, the MacBook Pros also have True Tone displays, iPad technology that allows the screen to dynamically shift color temperature based on the color temperature of the room.

This new third-generation keyboard wasn't created to solve those issues, Apple says. Apple does admit to adjusting its keyboard for quieter typing. Presumably all of them, because Apple says both models can connect to up to four external GPUs, or two 5K displays.
